Nordic Choice strives not only to be the most energy efficient hotel chain. The energy we use must not add more CO2 to an already polluted atmosphere. We therefore use renewable energy. If we had chosen to use fossil fuels Nordic Choice would have released almost 45,000 tonnes of CO2 per annum.
It costs a little
It costs a little more each day to buy renewable energy. But long term this amount can be weighed against the enormous damage, which cause changes to the global climate. Environment is first and foremost not a question of cost. It is a question of attitude. Conscious users will choose to discard products that damage the environment.

• More energy is necessary to improve the standard of living in third world countries.
• Nordic Choice purchases energy from Ishavskraft, 100% renewable and marked with origin from either water-, sun-, - wind-, wave-, geothermal power or bio mass.
