ENØK-Program
”Choice Energy” is the company energy-program supported by Enova.
The programme was established in 1999 as a pilot project until 2002. From and including 2003 it became an established programme in all of our Nordic Countries’ hotels.
Status – consumption
In total our hotels within Norway have achieved an annual saving of 29.6 GWh. We have achieved a better knowledge of energy consumption and an improved indoor climate. Energy and water consumption has been reduced by a little over 20 % since 2003. During 2010 and 2011 we are expanding both the scope and ambition for this work, when energy- and water savings becomes one of the main focus areas of the Nordic Choice environmental program.

Our hotels will be the most energy efficient in all the Nordic countries.
Energy strategy
- We must strive to achieve an energy and environmental profile better than the governmental minimum requirement.
- We will establish ambitious goals and keep focus on continuous environmental improvement regarding energy consumption.
