    (Oslo, 1 September 2010) Choice Hotels has given its frequent guest programme a facelift, and is relaunching it under the name Nordic Choice Club. The revamped programme offers a number of new benefits.

  2. Choice acquires Nordic Hotels in Stockholm
    (Stockholm, 24 June 2009) Choice Hotels Scandinavia is continuing with its ambitious growth strategy by acquiring the operating company behind the highly acclaimed hotels Nordic Light and Nordic Sea. With 542 new rooms, Choice will become the biggest hotel chain in Stockholm, and the company has great confidence in future opportunities for the Nordic Hotels brand.
  3. Guests and employees in good condition after fire in Eskilstuna
    (Oslo, 25 February 2009) At 04.00 AM this morning fire broke out at the Quality Hotel Statt, Eskilstuna in Sweden. The fire department was notified immediately and all the 103 guests and employees were evacuated. Three people have been taken care of for lighter smoke damages.
  4. Choice Hotels expands in North Sweden
    Choice Hotel Scandinavia buys Best Western Hotel Winn in Umeå. The hotel will be part of the Comfort brand, the Choice Groups most expansive brand in the Nordic countries. 25 million SEK will be invested in renovations. It opens May 1, 2009 under the name Comfort Hotel Umeå.

  5. Choice Hotels to set up in Riga
    To conquer exciting new markets is part of the growth strategy of Choice Hotels Scandinavia. After Tallinn, that became a brand new destination in the spring of 2008, we are happy to announce that Riga is our new destination from January 1. 2009. This family owned hotel; Hotel Valdemars, will be part of the Clarion Collection family. We are proud to announce that this is the first Clarion Collection hotel in the Baltic and Choice Hotels are looking forward to a growth in the area.
  6. Choice Hotels expansion continues across the Baltic Sea
    Estonia is the next destination for Choice Hotels Scandinavia, when Scandinavia's fastest growing hotel chain moves across the Baltic Sea. One of the best hotels in Tallinn, Hotel Euroopa, becomes Clarion Hotel Euroopa on 1 March.
  7. Choice becomes first Scandinavian smoke free hotel chain
    1th January 2007 Choice Hotels ASA becomes first Scandinvian smoke free hotel chain. 5 500 smoke rooms are these days made ready as non smoking rooms. All of the 23 000 choice rooms in Choice 152 Scandinavian hotels will be smoke free in the beginning of January.
