Torgeir was Managing Director of Quality Hotel Hafjell from 1991 to 1996. He was subsequently employed as Director of Operations Scandinavia until 1999, when he was appointed Group Vice President. He took up his current position in 2006.
Torgeir trained at the Norwegian School of Hotel Management in Stavanger.
Roar has more than 20 years’ management experience gained in the travel and finance industries. Before joining us, Roar was CEO of Norgani Hotels. He has extensive and varied management experience acquired in a number of positions including as CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruise Line (RCCL), President of Norlandia Hotels & Resorts, Director of Visa Norway, Color Line and Sparebanken Midt-Norge.
Roar has a BSc from the Norwegian School of Marketing (NMH) and an MSc in Management from the Norwegian School of Management (BI).
Helén came from the position as Finance and HR Director at Telenor Telehuset. She has years of management experience within finance and administration from various industries both nationally and internationally.
Helén is a graduate from the Norwegian School of Economics in Oslo with a degree in business economics and has studied leadership and strategy at the London Business School and the Budapest University of Economic Sciences.
Oscar was previously employed as IS/IT Director at Nordic Choice Hotels, and prior to that, as IT Director at Flytoget AS. He has also acquired extensive and varied experience from his time at Nycomed, IBM Norway and Fujitsu.
Oscar has an MSc in Management from the Norwegian School of Management, and trained at the Norwegian School of Information Technology.
Arne has more than 20 years’ experience of the industry, including 15 years with Nordic Choice Hotels. Prior to taking on his current role he served as director of various hotels.
Arne trained at the Norwegian School of Hotel Management in Stavanger.
Thomas has ten years’ experience of working as a hotel director at various hotels in the Nordic region, including as Director of Clarion Hotel Royal Christiania in Oslo. He has also been Managing Director of Nordic Choice Hotels Denmark.
Thomas is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University and Cornell University in the USA.
Eivind has 20 years of experience in the industry, including six years as managing director of various hotels, three years as Regional Director of Nordic Choice Hotels in central and northern Norway, and four years as Director of Operations Norway for nordic Choice Hotels. He joined Nordic Choice as Director of Quality Hotels in Scandinavia in 2005.
Eivind has a BSc in Hotel Management from the Norwegian School of Hotel Management in Stavanger.
André has more than 20 years’ experience of the industry. He has been part of the Nordic Choice team since 1997, and has managed Quality Hotel & Resort Sarpsborg since 2000. One of the highlights of his current job has been supervising the major expansion work performed at the hotel in 2008. Prior to joining Nordic Choice has was Director, Operations Manager and Head of Sales and Marketing at Brakanes Hotel in Hardanger for six years.
André gained a Masters in Business and Marketing at the Norwegian School of Management (BI).
Tobias was Managing Director of Clarion Hotel Sign in Stockholm from 2006 to 2009, prior to which he worked as Head of Sales at Clarion Hotel Stockholm. He also spent eight years at Berns and Grand Hôtel Stockholm, primarily within the sales department.
Tobias trained as a hotel manager at HOSTA Hotel and Tourism School and Hotel Institute Montreux in Switzerland.
Katalin was Managing Director of Grand Hotel Stockholm from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that she spent three years as the Hotel Manager of the same hotel. She has extensive hotel experience, including from Diplomat Hotels and Good Morning Hotel. Katalin joined Nordic Choice Hotels Sweden in 2004.
Katalin has an MBA from the Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law and has also completed courses in a number of other subjects including IFL at Cornell University in the USA. From 2002 to 2004, she was a director of Servera and now serves on the board of Åhléns AB, both part of the Axel Johnson AB Group.
Trond began in Nordic Choice Hotels in 2007. For three years he was operational manager for Quality Hotels in Norway. During 1997 – 2007 he was vice administrative manager at Dolly Dimple’s restaurant chain. Until 1997 he was Associate Professor and later Head of Faculty for Norsk Hotellhøgskole (Norwegian School of Hotel Management) in Stavanger.
Trond has a Master’s Degree in International Hotel Administration at Norsk Hotelhøgskole.
